Learnerships

In a city where many young people face barriers to employment and professional development, internships and learnerships play a vital role in creating pathways to opportunity. For youth in Lorentzville and the surrounding Johannesburg communities, access to meaningful workplace experience can be the difference between having a qualification and being truly prepared for the world of work.

Our Johannesburg learnership programme provides practical training in bookbinding, creative production, publishing and studio operations while helping participants develop workplace experience and professional confidence.

At Pulp, learnerships are more than training programmes—they are opportunities for growth, mentorship, and empowerment. By providing hands-on experience within a creative and collaborative environment, Pulp equips young people with practical skills, industry knowledge, and professional confidence. Participants are able to contribute to real projects, learn from experienced practitioners, and gain valuable insight into careers within the creative sector.
